Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Pack and label pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods according to daily production and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all items are packed accurately, neatly, and in compliance with Plain Vanilla’s packaging and quality standards.
- Prepare and consolidate orders for both retail store replenishment and online deliveries (e-commerce).
- Work closely with the Operation Partner to ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of orders.
- Assist in checking stock levels and notifying the supervisor of low or missing items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area at all times.
- Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards during all handling and packing processes.
- Support additional operational tasks as assigned during peak or festive periods.
Requirements:
- Have working experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary.
- Able to work a minimum of 18.5 hours per week (2-3 days per week).
- Working hours between 9am - 7pm.
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
- Have good work ethics, initiative and willingness to learn.
- Have good communication and able to work in a team.
- Hourly pay rates: $11 on weekdays & weekends and $13 on public holidays.
- Working location: 239 Pandan Loop #02-01, Food Concept @ Pandan, Singapore 128425.

Plain Vanilla Bakery was borne of an earnest desire for some good old-fashioned cake.
We’ll make no bones about how we love our European pastries – give us some cream-filled choux pastry and we’ll happily wolf it down. But there are days when all we want is cake. A slice of warm apple pound cake drizzled with caramel; tall layers of light sponge cake and buttercream; or just three or four mouthfuls of a cupcake smothered in enough frosting leftover for licks when the cake’s all gone.
So we’ve taken it upon ourselves to bring it back to basics. We take what our grandmothers and mothers were made of and we make it even better. We’re talking childhood-reminiscent flavours made from seasonal ingredients worthy of a home kitchen, only the treats are scrummier and more comforting than you remember. We’ve all felt that warm fuzziness – stirring in the hours of late morning to the wafting scent of freshly baked butter sponge, or quietly traipsing to the kitchen fridge at midnight when the tummy rumbles for that last slice of pound cake.
