Roles & Responsibilities

Job description:

Driver: With Singapore License 3 or 4

Verify items to be packed against the order list, including item names, quantities, and part numbers, to ensure accuracy.
Inspect products prior to packing to confirm they are free from damage, defects, or missing components.
Pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation.
Collaborate with the Purchaser to ensure timely delivery of goods from suppliers.
Safely transport clients, goods, or packages to and from designated locations
Maintain punctuality, ensuring arrival at destinations according to schedule.
Perform administrative errands, such as office pickups and deliveries.
Maintain professional and courteous interactions with clients, colleagues, and customers at all times.
Ensure the vehicle is fueled, maintained, and ready for use, including handling toll fees as needed.
Arrange for vehicle servicing and repairs promptly and maintain accurate records of mileage and maintenance.

Logistics:

Ensure the relevant documentation has been prepared and attached to the shipment of finished goods such as Delivery Order, Commercial invoice, loading plans, truck fill design etc.
Work closely with internal department, especially Sales & Warehouse department to ensure on-time shipment and in accordance with the agreed schedule.
Ensure that effective communication with suppliers and customers regarding shipping matters.
Ensure on-time and accurate delivery if goods to customers if finished.
Control standards in broad area of product inspection and logistical inspection.
Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures, especially shipping and delivery.
Support in handling Store related tasks.
To perform any other duties assigned by the Immediate Superior or management as and when required.
