Roles & Responsibilities

Arc Marine Pte Ltd is an established supplier of quality marine products and a trusted engineering service provider globally. We are a member of the International Ship suppliers & Services Association and the Association of Singapore Marine Industries.

We are looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals to join the team with tremendous growth potential within our group companies.

Job Responsibilities:

Process vessels' stores and provisions enquiries using Archangel software

Submit timely quotations to meet vessel schedule and urgent requests

Select reliable suppliers and regularly evaluate suppliers’ performance

Liaise with the other departments for delivery and collection arrangements

Ensure all documentations are completed upon job filing for smooth invoicing by Accounts

Submit a weekly report of enquiries and orders processed

Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Manager

Qualifications:

At least 1-year purchasing experience, preferably in marine sector or shipping industry

Diploma or related studies in business or engineering, entry-level are welcome

Familiar with Microsoft Office, ERP system or procurement software

Good written and spoken English skills, with a forward-thinking and proactive attitude

Well organized and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Able to work near Tuas West Road, 5.25 days/week.

Arc Marine Engineering is also certified under ISO 9001 since 2006 by DNV. We are approved by MES (Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co., Ltd) as Co-operative sub-contractor.

Both companies are OHSAS 18001 and BIZ SAFE star certified.

From our office-warehouse-workshop in the west part of Singapore, Arc is well-positioned to supply most vessels calling Singapore. Operating from a compound of 46,000 square ft, we have cold storage rooms/facilities and cooler boxes to meet storage and transit requirements for the supply of provision. For engineering task we have a well equipped workshop with e.g. two 20T overhead cranes to undertake all engineering task small as well as big. Furthermore a experienced team of technicians to join on-site jobs 24/7.

On top of sourcing and supplying a wide range of equipment and stores, Arc Marine is also able to provide effective solution to deal with the logistics challenges. We have a team of experienced staff with many years of marine experience.
