Role Overview:

We are looking for an Accounts Payable professional with hands-on experience in payment execution and vendor/bank coordination. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and be able to manage payment-related activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute vendor payments accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to payment schedules
• Manage bank communications related to payment queries, transactions, and issue resolution
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and queries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all payment transactions and supporting documentation
• Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable balances and investigate any variances
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial regulations
• Support global banking activities, including maintaining bank logins, user access, and approvals
• Coordinate the opening and closing of bank accounts with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain proper documentation and tracking of all banking-related activities and changes
• Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the AP function

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role
• Practical experience in payment processing, execution, and reconciliation
• Familiarity with banking platforms and online payment systems
• Exposure to global banking operations and account management is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Strong understanding of accounts payable workflows, controls, and compliance requirements
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively
