Roles & Responsibilities

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, manage accounts payable and receivable processes, and maintain overall financial and accounting compliance.

In this role, you will:

1. Update and maintain accurate accounting transactions.
2. Accounts Receivable (AR): Issue billings and update receipt records; Send monthly Statements of Account (SOA) to customers; Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments.
3. Accounts Payable (AP): Verify purchase invoices and ensure all documentation is complete; Process payments accurately and on time.
4. Reconcile outstanding payments with customers and suppliers.
5. Prepare monthly AR and AP aging analyses, collection forecasts, and relevant provisions.
6. Create project job numbers and job items in the system for projects.
7. Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
8. Maintain inventory reconciliation records.
9. Verify and process petty cash claims.
10. Ensure accurate and timely system postings for quarterly GST submissions.
11. Perform monthly or quarterly journal postings.
12. Liaise with external auditor for yearly audit.
13. Liaise with stakeholders in respect of payments and invoicing.
14. Handle adhoc tasks as required.

To perform in this role, you should have

1. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Proven working experience in the accounts or finance field.
3. Knowledge of full set accounting processes is preferred.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
6. Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
7. Knowledge of Taskhub is preferred
