Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Enrichment Instructor

Location: Hougang, Punggol, Toa Payoh

Type: Part-Time

Hours: Flexible, not more than 5 hours per shift

Commitment: Minimum of 1 day per week (preferably able to teach on sunday mornings); long term.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate self-directed learning in math, ensuring students stay engaged and motivated.

Prepare and organize lesson materials in line with the curriculum.

Provide guidance and support to students as they work through their math lessons.

Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.

Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience.

Ensure classroom management and the safety and well-being of all students.

Perform ad-hoc duties such as cleaning the classroom eg) sweeping and dusting.

Requirements:

Passion for math and teaching.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, with shifts not exceeding 5 hours.

Commitment to a minimum of 1 day per week, preferably able to teach on most sundays.

Able to work long term.

No formal qualifications required, even though preferred, as comprehensive training will be provided.
