Centre for Seniors (CFS) is a Social Service Agency with Charities Status, dedicated to helping seniors remain meaningfully engaged in work and in life. We provide a range of services to support seniors in navigating major work-life transitions and to support employers in building cohesive intergenerational workplaces.
Job Title: Recruitment Executive (Employment Services)
As a Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in connecting mature workers with suitable job placements. You will work closely with various industries and companies to advocate for the value of mature workers and encourage potential employers to consider hiring from our talent pool.
Department: Placement Team
Reports To: Employment Sector Lead
Stakeholders: Corporate clients, and mature job seekers
JobSummary:
The Recruitment Executive is responsible to match job opportunities with mature job seekers, follow up on post placement review to address employment concerns. Provide recruitment and give recommendation on necessary training to equip mature job seekers.
KeyResponsibilities:
1. Sourcing and Screening: Actively seek out and identify potential job openings that align with the skills and experience of mature workers. Conduct thorough screening processes to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for specific roles
2. Candidate Matching: Match qualified mature workers with appropriate job opportunities based on their skills, experience, and career aspirations. Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the job application process.
3. Advocacy and Outreach: Represent CFS at industry events, conferences, and job fairs to raise awareness about the value of mature workers. Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
4. Performance Tracking: Maintain Job seekers database, monitor and track the success of placements to measure the impact of CFS’ efforts. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and inform future strategies.
5. Meet Monthly Target: number of candidates placed to available positions monthly.
Qualifications& Skills
o Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
o More than 1 year experience in recruitment or human resources, preferably with a focus on mature worker placement.
o Understanding of labour market trends and industry dynamics.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both candidates and employers.
o Strong organizational and time management skills.
o Passion for promoting age diversity in the workplace and a commitment to social justice.
o Driven and target oriented, sales is second nature to you.
Additional Skills (Preferred)
o Experience with applicant tracking systems(ATS) and job boards.
o Knowledge of diversity and inclusion initiatives.
o Certification in human resources or recruitment.
